Wineries in Minnesota - you betch ya! On today's tour you will travel south of the Metropolitan area and be introduced to two of Minnesota's finest wine gems - the Cannon River Winery and the Alexis Bailey Winery. You will be pleasantly surprised to know that you can visit Minnesota wineries and taste Minnesota wines that are crafted from our own Minnesota grown fresh fruit. How is it possible? Minnesota's early autumn frosts cut our growing season short which has led to the development of hardy grape varieties that can be harvested early, and that can also survive our Minnesota winters. You will enjoy the opportunity to see how wine is made as well as sample varietals!
